Paul Ryan just asked Seth Rogen for a photo. Rogen’s response is absolutely epic (WATCH)

While at an Alzheimer’s benefit in Park City, Utah, hosted by Mitt Romney, Seth Rogen was approached by two boys who asked if it he would meet their father. While he didn’t know who they were, the actor acquiesced, only to see Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) walk over.

While on “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert, Rogen described the interaction, starting at the moment that he found himself shaking the Republican politician’s hand.

“And he said, ‘Can I have a picture with you?’ And I look over and his kids are standing right there, expectantly clearly fans of mine, and I said, ‘No way man!’ And I couldn’t stop, and I said, ‘Furthermore, I hate what you’re doing to the country at this moment, and I count the days until you no longer have one iota of the power that you currently have!’”

During a “Fox & Friends” broadcast (video below), the hosts denounced the actor’s behavior, citing the fact that Ryan’s children like Rogen’s movies. Apparently, Rogen is supposed to put his morals and beliefs aside because the offspring of a man who has predicated his time in office by slashing protections for America’s most vulnerable citizens while delivering massive tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans are present.

If “Fox & Friends” is so concerned about optics in front of children, perhaps they’ll have something to say about the Trump administration policy of tearing them away from their parents and throwing them in cages rather than worrying about the kids of a millionaire not getting everything that they want when they want it.

The “Fox & Friends” hosts then attempt to defend Ryan by sarcastically saying, “No, no. There’s no misunderstanding. All Republicans are evil. That’s it. They’re all complicit with Trump. And Paul Ryan– no big pro-Trump guy. He’s gone along on a few things here or there.” It should be noted that Paul Ryan votes with Trump 94.7% of the time. If that’s going “along on a few things here or there,” I’d be horrified to see who they consider an actual pro-Trump politician.

The “Fox & Friends” host may have been being sarcastic when he said, “Republicans are evil. That’s it.” But he hit the nail on the head.
