Nelson Mandela’s grandson just called out Trump for being an arrogant, ignorant know-nothing

President Trump turned heads around the world this week when he announced he was ordering his Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, to “closely study” the “large-scale killing of white farmers” in South Africa after watching FOX News‘ Tucker Carlson devote an entire segment to the white supremacist conspiracy.

It is deeply disturbing to see the President of the United States giving such a platform for the piteous victimization complexes of aggravated racists, not to mention deeply insulting the government and people of South Africa.

The grandson of Nelson Mandela and Pan-African Parliament member Nkozi Mandela fired back at President Trump in a furious statement:

“President Donald Trump’s unfortunate tweet shows disrespect for South Africa’s sovereignty and our commitment to justice and redress, Trump once again demonstrates a total ignorance of reality. We will not be dictated to, threatened or pressured into accepting a land deal that perpetuates the injustices of the past.”

He added that Trump’s time would “be better served by dealing with his own domestic challenges and the fundamental issues that the ‘Black Lives Matter’ campaign raises.”

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramphosa recently proposed a change to the constitution which would allow the government to seize land without compensation in order to deal with the monumental inequality between blacks and whites, who still own 73% of farming land nearly 25 years after the end of the apartheid regime.

Ramphosa’s land reform is aimed at redistributing “unused land, derelict buildings, circumstances where occupiers have strong historical rights, informal settlements and abandoned inner-city buildings” — not to simply seize all farms from whites, though they would be well within their rights to do so, considering they were illegitimately and violently seized from South African blacks long ago.

All reports of a “white genocide” or killings of white farmers are vastly overexaggerated. Killings have actually dropped over the past few years, but the far-right wing would rather repeat preposterous lies than accept that historical injustices should be rectified at the expense of white oppressors.

The president’s tweet is just the latest indication that he has long ago left the realm of reality and is chest-deep in white supremacist delusion.

For all his talk of “fake news,” he is now openly devoting federal resources to investigating racist conspiracy theories beloved by neo-Nazis like The Daily Stormer’s Andrew Anglin while disgracing the United States on the global stage, once again.
